JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps/SQL DBA to play a pivotal role in enhancing our SaaS Management platform.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the process of release and deployment, working collaboratively with various teams to guarantee smooth and effective deployment operations.
• Identify and act on opportunities to enhance stability, performance, and scalability in critical business systems, implementing robust solutions that align with strategic goals.
• Advocate for process improvements to minimize obstacles and enhance efficiency in projects, services, and operations.
• Upkeep data integration pipelines that amalgamate data from diverse systems into a centralized data lake.
• Management of infrastructure, which includes deploying and maintaining servers, storage, and network resources necessary for hosting applications.
• Set up, manage, and maintain SQL and Aurora databases.
• Write SQL queries and validate queries from developers.
• Assist with DevOps tasks.
• Set up and maintain staging environments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in writing advanced SQL queries
• 3+ years of experience creating and making database changes
• High-level expertise in Linux, Bash, or PowerShell, tailored for our technology environment.
• Proficient in managing Agile software development processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS
• Experience in server management and deployment using Capistrano and Docker.
• Competent in configuring and troubleshooting Linux servers.
• Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced start up environment
