Job Description:

As part of our client's team, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and verifying various pipeline drawings, encompassing alignment sheets, property plats, permits, HDDs, typicals, vicinity maps, environmental, soil plan & sediment control drawings, FERC drawings, and occasionally various mechanical drawings for mainline valves, side tap valves & launcher/receiver drawings. Additionally, you will be involved in plotting drawings, compiling drawing packages (both hardcopies and electronic formats) for delivery to clients or contractors. Duties may extend to plotting property deeds, processing survey data, and utilizing various CAD and alignment sheet generator software.

There may be requirements for site visits to the field and attendance at project meetings with clients, contractors, and other involved disciplines.

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• High School diploma minimum, with 1 to 4 years of college or technical equivalent preferred.
• Direct experience in Pipeline Mapping/Design, with a minimum of 2 years of CAD experience.
• Field survey or construction experience is advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of pipeline design and mapping.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Additional experience with Blue Sky/Skyline and Microstation is desirable.
• GIS experience is beneficial.
• Cadworx experience is also advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and represent the company effectively with clients and contractors.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with other designers, engineers, project managers, etc., either in group settings or independently as required to ensure project success.
