JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is actively seeking a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS/PLS) to join the Houston team. This candidate will need to hold a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) designation in Texas. As the RPLS/PLS, you will oversee the management, planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple survey projects and personnel.

We're seeking an individual who will consistently apply sound survey principles to effectively plan, assess, and complete survey projects. In this capacity, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving field measurements, as well as guiding and assisting in the preparation of survey documents. Additionally, you will lead field surveys as needed to maintain scheduling or ensure professional supervision and quality control.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• A.S. or B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Registration or licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) in Texas.
• Minimum of 5+ years' relevant experience conducting various types of boundary, topographic, pipeline, and control surveys.
• At least 2+ years' experience as a Registered or Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
• Proficient in time management, organization, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Trimble survey equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
