Director of Operations | Growing Fast-Casual Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to join the leadership team and drive operational excellence for a fast-growing Fast Casual Restaurant group.


As Director of Operations you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, and ensuring that quality, service, and efficiency standards are met. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the restaurant industry, exceptional operational acumen, and a proven ability to drive performance across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all restaurant locations, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively. Implement and maintain high standards of operational procedures and best practices.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals. Analyze financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Area Directors, Regional Managers, and restaurant managers. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional customer experience across all locations. Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all locations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, enhance the customer experience, and improve operational efficiency. Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
  • Brand Integrity: Uphold and promote the company’s brand values and image. Ensure consistent branding, marketing, and customer service efforts across all locations.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum five (5) yeas experience in Multi-Unit Management, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, or similar role in the restaurant industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
  • Willingness to travel as needed
