Our company is ramping up its growth and expanding our restaurant footprint - and we need a dedicated Vice President of Restaurant Development to lead the charge. You will be assuming and improving systems and processes.

We are looking for someone to create and lead our restaurant development function to make the restaurant design and construction process so effortless that we can easily open 4+ new restaurants per year.

Responsibilities:

Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do:

• Build the Development function for a growing restaurant group from the ground up. The reason we are bringing it in-house is that our growth is accelerating, and we want the person heading development to be an integral part of the team.
• Own the new restaurant development process from initial site visits to operational turnover as we expand across the US.
• Source, vet, and contract with external development partners.
• Collaborate with our Culinary and Operations teams to develop store design and operational requirements and ensure those standards are met.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in a development leadership role for the restaurant or food and beverage.
• Knowledge of restaurant functionality, space planning, and equipment (FF&E).
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Superior analytical and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
