Bluegate are seeking a Lab based Test Technician who has experience of working with mechanical products for our Cambridge based client.

You will be working on boundary pushing technology within the telecommunications industry, assisting in creating game changing products that are used by the worlds most recognisable companies.

Main Responsibilities – Test Technician

Run tests using standard operating procedures as required

Run tests with more experimental set up as required with support from Engineers

Operate precision test equipment

Documenting the test results using Microsoft Office

Provide general technical support for testing as required

Maintain test rigs, equipment, and test room environment

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Experience of working in a test laboratory setting on mechanical products and components

Experience in using MS Office – especially Excel

Excellent attention to detail
