Quality Engineer - $70,000 annually with bonus opportunities




Quality Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, design, development, and optimization of our Quality System Processes. Your responsibilities will span both Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects. This role is perfect for someone who excels in hands-on collaboration with production personnel, implementing effective measurement and inspection techniques, and fostering inter-departmental coordination to improve process efficiency and product quality. We seek an individual with expertise in material traceability, robust analytical skills, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Maintain the Quality Management System: Utilize your experience in root cause analysis techniques to ensure the integrity of our Quality Management System, including ISO9001 compliance.
  • Process Development and Improvement: Work with customer and organizational inputs to develop, maintain, and enhance manufacturing processes and control checks, ultimately ensuring product quality.
  • Quality Control: Conduct routine measurements and tests to minimize non-conformance and address customer complaints. Train production personnel on quality control processes and procedures.
  • Testing and Calibration: Support the inspection and calibration of testing and measurement devices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use your experience to institute changes that strengthen our quality system, including the creation and implementation of Control Plans.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to improve process efficiency and output quality.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Engineering role is required.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Expertise in developing and improving manufacturing processes and control checks.
  • Ability to conduct routine measurements and tests to ensure product quality.
  • Experience in training production personnel in quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with inspection and calibration of testing and measurement devices.
  • Capability to institute changes for a more robust quality system, including creating and implementing Control Plans.
  • Effective inter-departmental collaboration skills to enhance process efficiency and output quality.
