Extrusion Operators - ON THE JOB TRAINING

Monday - Friday

1st Shift - 7AM to 3PM - $16/hour

3rd Shift - 11PM to 7AM - $16.40/hour

Summary

The purpose of the Extrusion Operator is to perform full and comprehensive operation of extrusion and/or thermoforming manufacturing machines to produce company products of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates thermoforming, extrusion, packaging, and material handling equipment as required in a safe and professional manner
• Monitors machines or equipment for alarms, indicators, and or unusual sounds to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with leads to diagnose problem or repair machine
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma/Ged
• Must be able understand the technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking, reading comprehension, basic math skills, blueprints
• lifting up to 50lbs as necessary.
