Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine dental examinations to assess oral health and identify dental problems.
• Perform dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
• Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer anesthetics and sedatives as needed for dental procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, panoramic films, and intraoral images.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of dental treatments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in dentistry, including new technologies and techniques.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by regulatory bodies and professional associations.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations in the dental office.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Excellent clinical skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field of dentistry.
