Junior Sales Representative

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in Maintaining and growing existing customer business: This includes learning to build relationships with customers, assisting in identifying prospective customers, assisting on following up on potential sales leads, and providing customer support when needed. 
  • Learning how to bring in new business: This includes assisting Sales Rep in identifying and establishing contact with potential customers, scheduling and presenting our various products to potential customers, presenting differentiating benefits of those products, attending industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads, and following industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
  • Handling Customer Inquiries, and Orders:  Learn in time, to be able to take customer calls that will consist of inquiries, and orders. Be able to process all orders into the system.  
  • Supermarket Fulfillment – Since supermarkets are our largest customer segment, representative will need to learn how these supermarkets operate, learn how the product is properly displayed, learn how to place orders for product into our inventory system.
  • Excellent communication skills: This includes communicating externally with our customers to properly understand their product needs, as well as communicating internally with colleagues to identify and suggest problems, improvements, issues, etc. 
  • Highly organized: This includes managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and keeping accurate written records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Provide Communication Reports to Management – weekly call reports, monthly highlight reports and quarterly sales meetings to review Sales results, competition, promotions and any operational issues. 


Qualifications:


  • The ideal candidate for this position should be detail-oriented and have had experience dealing with customers.
  • Be able to work the hours required, as well as be reliable and consistent coming to work. 
  • Have a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently, once the required level of knowledge on the products and customers are absorbed. 
  • Be organized, and be able to track and manage many moving parts. 
  • They should also be able to work closely with the existing warehouse manager and office administration.
  • Have a driving force to want to help people and implement growth. 
  • Speak English & Yiddish
