We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team in Howell, NJ. As a Junior QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous testing and analysis. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report bugs, track issues, and assist in troubleshooting to maintain the highest standards of quality in our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough testing of software applications and systems to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability, usability, and functionality.
• Document and track software defects, including steps to reproduce and severity assessments.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users or identified during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
