Underwriting and Account Boarding Specialist

$25.00 - $30.00 an hour

The Underwriting and Account Boarding Specialist will prescreen and process new customer applications for approval.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review data submitted by sales agent for verification.
• Contact agent via phone or email, for additional information if not provided on initial paperwork.
• Submit completed applications to the appropriate bank for approval.
• Respond to inquiries from the bank via phone or email if addition information is needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Must have 1 - 2 years of related experience
• Ability to focus on a detailed application and ensure accuracy before submission
• Verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems
• Proficient keyboard and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications a plus
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team but assume ownership and responsibility for team and self-assigned work.

This is a full time in person position

Underwriting and Account Boarding Specialist II: $55,000 - $65,000

Underwriting and Account Boarding Specialist III: $65,000 - $75,000
