Chief Operating Officer

Our Client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our rapidly growing Managed Service Provider (MSP). As the COO, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, overseeing day-to-day activities, and shaping the strategic direction of the company. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's operations, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients.


Responsibilities:

1 - Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the company's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Drive the execution of key initiatives to support business growth and expansion.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategic decision-making.

2 - Operational Management:

  • Oversee all operational activities of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize service delivery.
  • Monitor and assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and clients to support operational excellence.

3 - Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage the company's budget, financial forecasts, and performance indicators.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze financial data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

4 - Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide strong leadership to the operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, creating opportunities for growth and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to drive cross-functional success.

5 - Client Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with the sales and client services teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall client experience and maximize client lifetime value.
  • Lead efforts to identify and address client needs, resolve issues, and drive continuous service improvement.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role within the managed service provider industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, technology infrastructure, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and achieving business growth targets.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization.


This is a full time in house position
