Authorizations Lead Manager

My client is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Authorizations Lead Manager to oversee the critical process of securing and maintaining service authorizations. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire authorization process for ABA services
• Obtain and maintain authorizations from various insurance companies and other payers
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding authorization status and requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to authorizations
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure full compliance with authorization requirements
• Lead and mentor authorization team members
• Stay current with changes in insurance policies and authorization procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance authorization processes, particularly in the ABA field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Leadership experience preferred
