Responsibilities:
Extensive travel within the assigned territory to meet with potential clients in the construction industry, primarily focusing on large-scale commercial and industrial projects
Conduct in-depth consultative sales presentations, product demonstrations, and assess client needs for complex plumbing and sprinkler systems
Establish and maintain valuable relationships with key decision-makers, including contractors, developers, architects, and engineering firms
Persuasively convey the value proposition of high-quality, efficient, and code-compliant plumbing and sprinkler systems for large-scale projects
Prepare detailed proposals, specifications, and negotiate profitable contracts for plumbing and sprinkler system installations
Continually prospect new client leads through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships
Achieve aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas set by the company
Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales team members
Qualifications:
In-depth technical knowledge of plumbing and sprinkler system products, codes, and installation requirements for large-scale projects
Extensive outside sales experience (3 + years) in the plumbing, sprinkler systems, or construction industry, with a proven track record of success
Superior persuasion, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with experience in handling complex sales cycles
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple large-scale projects
Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, project timelines, and industry best practices
Strong relationships within the construction industry, particularly in the New York area
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
