Job Description:

Seeking a detail and highly organized Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing loan applications efficiently and accurately. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely loan processing, from application submission to loan approval.

Responsibilities:

1. Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
2. Verify applicant information, including income, employment history, and credit reports.
3. Communicate with applicants to request additional documentation or information as needed.
4. Prepare loan files and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
5. Evaluate applicant eligibility based on company policies and loan requirements.
6. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the loan approval process.
7. Follow up with applicants and provide updates on the status of their loan applications.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan processing.
9. Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and updates in the database.
10. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan processing.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a loan processor.
3. Knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and documentation.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Proficiency in using loan processing software and MS Office applications.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
