The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization. This includes developing and implementing financial strategies, overseeing financial operations, managing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure long-term financial stability and growth.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the preparation and management of the annual budget.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and optimize resource allocation.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular financial reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

Accounting and Control:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.

Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize working capital to maintain liquidity and support business operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for debt management and financing.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and manage risk exposure.
  • Stay updated on market trends and economic factors affecting the business.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Promote professional growth and development opportunities for finance staff.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in finance management, with a proven track record of financial leadership.
