As a Logistics Coordinator for our E-commerce company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and optimizing warehouse operations to meet customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the fulfillment of customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand. Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Shipping and Transportation: Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, including negotiating rates with carriers and scheduling deliveries. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) as needed.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory. Implement best practices for warehouse layout, space utilization, and material handling to optimize efficiency.
• Order Tracking and Shipment Visibility: Track shipments in transit and provide customers with real-time updates on order status and delivery timelines. Resolve any issues or delays in transit proactively.
• Returns Management: Handle returns and exchanges efficiently, including processing returns, issuing refunds or replacements, and coordinating with suppliers and carriers for reverse logistics.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards. Prepare and maintain shipping and export documentation accurately.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehouse operations, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover. Prepare regular reports and analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in an E-commerce or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, including transportation modes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
