Site Manager - Glass Installation

Brooklyn, NY (Based in Williamsburg office, but field work across Brooklyn area)

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to lead our glass installation teams for building projects across Brooklyn. As the Site Manager, you will be the main point of contact for the CEO, and oversee all of the field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a highly involved role, requiring a practical, hardworking individual comfortable working on job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise my installation crews, delegating tasks and ensuring high standards of workmanship
• Coordinate schedules, material deliveries, and equipment for multiple job sites
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues
• Serve as the primary liaison between installation teams and my company's leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and customer requirements
• Troubleshoot problems on site and develop solutions to keep our projects on track
• Maintain detailed records of project status, timesheets, and material usage
• Mentor and train our junior installation staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction/installation management, preferably in glass/glazing
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a hands-on environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledgeable about construction methods, codes, and safety practices
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple NYC work sites
