Account Manager/Sales Support

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join their team. This person will play a crucial role in supporting their business growth initiatives and expanding market presence. This position will assist in identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the development of strategic partnerships.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in researching potential markets, customers, and competitors to identify business opportunities.
  • Support the Business Development/sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Maintain and update CRM database with client information, leads, and sales activities.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings and follow-ups with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to evaluate business development performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that align with business development goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager and team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • A motivated self-starter, self-initiator.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Assistant, Sales Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or textile industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of business development principles and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
