Coordination Manager - Homecare Services

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordination Manager to join our dynamic homecare company based in Monroe, NY. The Coordination Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the coordination of homecare services to ensure the seamless delivery of care to our clients. This position requires a strong blend of organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage scheduling, client relationships, and the coordination of care staff.


Responsibilities:


Scheduling and Staff Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain a master schedule for homecare services, ensuring appropriate coverage for all clients.
  • Coordinate with care staff to align schedules with client needs and preferences.
  • Address scheduling conflicts promptly and efficiently.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to assess satisfaction and address any concerns.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, including caregivers, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate communication and collaboration.


Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor the quality of care provided to clients and address any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of care staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with training programs to ensure staff members are up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, care plans, and schedules.
  • Generate reports on service delivery, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.


Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to address staffing needs and facilitate onboarding processes.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a coordination or management role within the homecare or healthcare industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the homecare industry.


This is a full time in house position
