A busy title firm is looking for a Runner to join their growing team!! The ideal candidate for the Runner will have clerical experience and has the ability to learn quickly. The Runner must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The Runner will be responsible for:

·      Sorting and delivering incoming mail and posting outgoing mail

·      Ordering and stocking supplies;

·      Packing and preparing envelopes and boxes for overnight shipping

·      Scanning work into case management software and QC to ensure accuracy

·      Creating and Copying CDs

·      Importing photos from cameras into the system

·      Printing emails upon request

·      Overseeing maintenance on machines and call for service

·      Making hourly runs to pick up/deliver jobs in the office

·      Keeping copy rooms stocked and orderly and copiers full

·      Keeping network printer stations stocked with paper

·      Often lifting large boxes or files

·      Work overtime as required

·      Other duties as assigned

The Runner will excel with:

·      Clerical experience preferred

·      Valid driver’s license required

·      Personal, dependable transportation

·      Clerical ability: Computer skills including typing, photocopying, and other duties as requested by lawyers and/or staff

·      Ability to use a copier, fax machine, and other accessories in copy center

·      Ability to prioritize assignments and complete work in a timely manner

·      Excellent reading and comprehension skills

·      Strong communication skills

·      Ability to follow instructions carefully

·      Ability to get along with lawyers, co-workers, clients, vendors, and others

·      Maintain the strictest standards for law office confidentiality

·      Meet the mental and emotional demands of stressful, deadline-oriented work

·      Abide by guidelines as set out in office policy and procedures handbook

The Runner will be rewarded with:
