Staffing Manager


Snelling Professional Services, Knoxville's leading professional career recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a seasoned Staffing Manager to drive growth within our growing branch. This is an exceptional opportunity for a staffing professional with a proven track record to make a significant impact on a growing organization. Must have experience with new business development and contract negotiations.


HYBRID opportunity, in office as needed, usually 2-3 days per week.


In this role, you will:

  • Leverage your 3-5+ years of experience to develop and cultivate strong client relationships, securing career and temp-to-hire placements at all levels from associate to executive search.
  • Lead the sourcing and recruitment of top talent to fulfill client staffing needs across our target industries.
  • Build strategic partnerships with key decision-makers, including hiring managers and C-suite executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain clear communication with management, providing regular updates on project progress and staffing initiatives.
  • Utilize a suite of sales tools for marketing and client relationship management, including profiling, reporting, and order management.
  • Set and exceed personal sales goals, continuously improving performance and market share within your specialty area.


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of demonstrably successful experience in professional staffing to include new business development
  • Strong understanding of various industries and their staffing needs and how to facilitate communication from lead to close and job order to placement.
  • Adeptness at leveraging social media platforms for candidate sourcing and engagement.
  • Strong technical skills with recruiting software, Boolean search strategies, and excellent typing proficiency.
  • CRM experience, strong typing proficiency, and ability to run with advanced technology and AI tools is a must!
  • Experience with LinkedIn for business development or recruiting
  • Ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls.
