$80,000 + DOE + bonus

One of the fastest-growing law firms in the south is opening a new location and is seeking an Attorney to grow their newest location in Panama City! The Attorney will have experience within the personal injury/civil litigation arena. This opportunity has a competitive salary and a strong bonus structure.

The Attorney will be responsible for:

• Providing legal support and guidance to clients from the initial meeting through closing

• Advising clients on the best behavior while charges are pending, including confiding in family and friends and social media use

• Meeting with clients at the remand or office to critically discuss the case and strategize on how best to defend

• Finding ethical solutions to legal matters

• Communicating with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs to help provide them with essential pieces of advice

• Strategizing on how to resolve the client's cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner

• Enlightening clients about legal options and making them know the possible outcomes or threats

• Developing ideal arguments and representing clients in legal proceedings

• Staying informed about any current legislation

• Building trustworthy relationships with clients

• Preparing legal documents such as dispositions, pleadings, and contracts in a timely and accurate manner

• Assisting clients with the execution of agreements such as plea bargains with the regional attorney’s office

• Collecting retainers from clients and executing contracts

• Other duties as needed

The Attorney will excel with:

• 2-5 years of experience

• Florida License required, Alabama Bar license also preferred, or willing to acquire Alabama Bar License after being hired

• Trial experience a huge plus

• Experience with Pre-Lit and Litigation plaintiff-based personal injury experience.

• Experience working in a law office

• Must possess excellent presentation and legal writing skills

• Ability to put in the necessary hours required to complete the assigned cases in a timely manner.

• Self-starter with the ability to complete work with little supervision or direction

• Must be able to adapt to the protocols and systems put in place by the company

• Ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage a large volume of work

• Passion for helping clients
