Machine Tool OEM hiring for Sales Engineer in IL/WI

 

Snelling ProSearch hires for OEM of automated fabrication machinery and turnkey automation solutions. We are recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join to join a renowned machine tool industry leading. As a Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and customer management acumen to best achieve targets in your assigned territory.


Sales Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically target and engage manufacturers/fabricators in your region to promote and sell our client's cutting-edge products.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
  • Understand customer needs, challenges, and production requirements, and present tailored solutions based on our client's technology.
  • Leverage your technical skills to showcase the advantages of our client's systems and how they outperform competitors.
  • Stay up-to-date on product developments and industry trends through training, research, and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Travel extensively within your territory to build relationships and secure sales.


Ideal Sales Engineer Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relative technical degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the machine tool industry or related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of customer support success and contribution towards business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.


The Sales Engineer will be rewarded with:
