Role Summary:

Our client is seeking a Director of New Business with over 7 years of experience in sales, particularly in digital services such as paid search, SEO, or SaaS products, with a focus on digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital agency background as well as experience working with mid-market clients/brands and have a consultative selling approach and ability to perform at a high level with little supervision. Must be located in New York, Miami, or Orlando


Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Competent in prospecting and pitching demos for active prospects.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals for new business department
  • Research and identify potential markets and clients
  • Leverage an existing book of business to generate new opportunities
  • Manage the process of a prospective client’s proposed plan alongside other agency team members, such as proposals, estimates, timelines, etc.
  • Be a self-starter who thinks strategically with a mix of networking and technical skills
  • Some travel based on events and presentation opportunities
  • Suggest product, marketing, and sales process improvements that will increase sales performance metrics
  • Attend relevant industry-related events and client engagements
  • Maintain industry knowledge through continued education in industry-specific information via webinars, online training, research, articles etc.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with management and marketing teams
  • Maintain personal forecasting of individual sales to ensure sales quota success
  • Keep updated HubSpot (CRM) notes for all leads and deal activity
  • Utilize CRM protocols for consistency across company communications
  • Work with production staff to create accurate estimates for new opportunities
  • Follow company sales procedures from discovery to proposal to follow-up to closing
  • Knowledge of working with sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Promote positive relations with vendors, strategic partners, and client partners
  • High energy, strong work ethic
