Our client provides mental health counseling, housing services, and employment assistance to adults, children, and their families. With locations all throughout Northern California and an almost 50 year history, these programs offer an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of hundreds, even thousands, of individuals. This position is based out of their Santa Rosa location.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • delivers individual and group therapy.
  • Helps teams with coordination and service plans that reflect quantifiable goals; supports teams in allocating resources to meet county-specific paperwork needs and identifying areas for documentation improvement.
  • ensures that documentation requirements are met.
  • By offering interventions to improve communication, problems with staff and member communication are resolved.
  • offers courses and in-service training.
  • When necessary, examines and completes Denial of Rights Forms.
  • visits members on a regular basis to offer guidance and assistance.
  • When a crisis occurs, quick action is taken to stop it as well as to alert the appropriate people and organizations to help resolve the situation. This type of "on-the-spot" counseling is both beneficial to the members and in line with the program's guiding principles.
  • ensures the members' wellbeing, safety, and health.
  • timely completion of documentation as assigned.
  • enforces Turning Point Community Programs' policies and procedures.
  • Participates in off-site trainings, represents the agency in County utilization reviews, and gives all staff in-service training.
  • Executes Quality Management tasks as instructed by the Clinical Director and Team Leader, including internal audits, service provision and charting reviews, preparing for county Utilization and Review audits, and other projects as assigned.
  • For clients who do not get medication management services from the program psychiatrist, facilitate groups, offer individual and family therapy, and update diagnoses.
  • ensures the members' wellbeing, health, and safety.


Qualifications

  • Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in CA.
  • Minimum of 1 YOE post-licensure.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.
