We are a Mid-Sized Semiconductor manufacturer in Albuquerque New Mexico.

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our growing team!

What You'll do:


·        Ensure the shift priorities and work schedule are adhered to in all manufacturing areas. Checks on progress and quality of the work throughout the shift.

·        Gathers and analyses information necessary to achieve the overall manufacturing priorities on the shift. (Statistical Process Control charts, Work in Progress reports, equipment status, hold lot, ship schedule linearity.

·        Enforces area protocols, cleanliness and 5S practices.

·        Represents the company to the shift and communicates company priorities and directions to the shift personnel. Ensures the company policies are being adhered to.

·        Manages Equipment and Maintenance priorities. Makes the decision on when and who to call in critical situations.

·        Encourages and facilitates the constructive resolution of conflict.

·        Promotes cooperation and teamwork.

·        Handles all employee disciplinary action on the shift. 

·        Leads and facilitates continues improvement.

·        Provides management feedback and recognition for work well done.

·        Maintains performance documentation including safety and training.

·        Must be familiar with Quality Management Systems, which includes SPC, OCAP, RFC and Discrepant Material Review practices.

·        May perform other duties as assigned. 




What you need to have:


·        Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, utilization in area of responsibility, Statistical Process Control techniques, supervisory methodology and computer literacy.

·        Associate degree in related field and 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing environment including supervisory experience. Or an equivalent amount of related experience, education and / or formal job-related training.

·        Proficient in SAP, Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point

·        Able to multi-task.

·        Effective written and communication skills with ability to interface on project level.

·        Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.



Day shift position, 12- hour shifts.

6am- 6pm. Shifts are three shifts one week and four shifts the next week.
