Job Description: Project Manager (Security Systems)


Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join their team at a leading security systems installation company specializing in high-end commercial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful implementation of security systems for multiple esteemed clients.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely and efficient execution of security system installations from start to finish.


2. Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.


3. Team Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.


4. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, addressing issues promptly and implementing contingency plans as necessary.


5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.


Qualifications and Requirements:


1. Background and Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in the security systems industry, with a strong understanding of Genetec and Lenel systems.


2. Project Management Certification: Possession of a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is preferred.


3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of security system technologies, installation procedures, and industry best practices.


4. Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.


5. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to think critically and provide effective solutions.


6. Background Check: Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.


7. Residency: Must reside within a 30-mile radius of Canoga Park, CA.


Benefits and Compensation:


- Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
