Associate Attorney – Employment Litigation Defense

Our client, a national law firm with 35 offices and more than 500 attorneys, is currently seeking an Associate Attorneys – Employment Litigation Defense in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This growing office in South Florida has multiple positions available and is open to hiring Junior Associates and Of Counsel level candidates who would prefer to be on a partner-track.

They are also open to hiring experienced litigators with an interest in labor & employment law.

Requirements:

·      3+ years of defense side employment litigation experience

·      Strong Litigator experienced in drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and trials.

·      Experience with wage-hour litigation and counseling & auditing clients on wage hour compliance and government DOL investigations is a plus

·      Experience working with and counseling clients on employment law challenges, drafting & revising handbooks, and manager training

·      Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida

Base Salary: $165,000 - $185,000 + Bonus – Salary is based upon experience (range differs for senior associates with a portable book of business)
