Location: Folsom, California  

Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000/year

Role Overview


We are seeking a General Structural Concrete Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all concrete operations. This role involves ensuring the safety, cost-effectiveness, productivity, and quality of our projects. The superintendent will set productivity goals, assist field foremen with labor, materials, and equipment scheduling, and may supervise multiple foremen or superintendents depending on project needs. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience managing projects up to $25 million.


Core Responsibilities


- Oversee all concrete operations, ensuring project success in terms of profitability, safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.

- Adhere to our Code of Business Conduct.

- Assist with estimating production rates, methods, and form system selection.

- Document and resolve field issues promptly.

- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

- Develop project schedules as required by clients.

- Implement the Project Quality Control Program.

- Oversee and implement the Safety Plan on projects.

- Develop and execute Project-Specific Safety Plans.

- Collaborate with project management staff on construction plans, procurement, environmental planning, cost controls, quality management, safety plans, and risk management.

- Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and report to the Operations Manager.

- Address constructability issues and potential design conflicts, ensuring timely resolution.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to field staff.

- Maintain effective communication with owners, teams, and stakeholders.

- Develop construction plans for successful project execution.

- Assist with reviewing form drawings, mix designs, change orders, and contracts.


Qualifications


- 10-15 years of field experience as a concrete foreman or superintendent.

- 5-8 years in a supervisory role managing multiple foremen or superintendents on various projects.

- Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.

- Proficient in concrete construction methods, scheduling, cost control, contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel overnight as required.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Physical capability to lift and carry 75 lbs. and walk on uneven surfaces.

- Authorized to work in the United States.
