We are a Mid-Sized Semiconductor manufacturer in Albuquerque New Mexico.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our growing team!

Manufacture and provide electronic-grade silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry.

What You'll do:


  • Ensures the shift priorities and work schedules are communicated and are adhered to in all

manufacturing areas. Checks on the progress and quality of the work throughout the shift.

  • Gathers and analyzes information necessary to achieve the overall manufacturing priorities

on the shift. (Statistical Process Control charts, Work in Progress reports, equipment status,

hold lot, ship schedule linearity etc.).

  • Continually reviews Work in Progress, to achieve overall production schedule.
  • Represents the company to the area and communicates company priorities and directions to

supervisory personnel. Ensures the company policies and procedures are followed and

addresses deviations.

  • Provides direction in the management of Equipment Engineering and Maintenance priorities.
  • Reviews critical situations as identified by Shift Supervisors.
  • Makes corrective measure recommendations to maintain production schedule.
  • Provides motivational leadership to shift supervisors and other employees.
  • Leads and facilitates excellence teams in their area (continuous improvement).
  • Provides management feedback and recognition for work well done.
  • Proactive management of environmental and safety programs and hazard identification and

mitigation. Leads efforts to achieve environmental and safety goals.

  • Instructs subordinates on emergency procedures and evacuation protocols.
  • Maintains performance documentation including safety and training.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.




What you need to have:


Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of related experience in a manufacturing

environment, including managerial/supervisory responsibilities. Or an equivalent amount of

related experience; education and/or formal job-related training as approved by the Company.

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, utilization in their area of

responsibility, Statistical Process Control techniques, supervisory methodology and computer

literacy.
