**Job Title:** Production Team Leader


**Reports To:** Production Manager


**Job Type:** Full-time


**Salary:** $18-23 per hour. 1st and 2nd shift. Right now they are working 12 hour shifts. 3A-3P possibly on 1st shift, 3p-3a for 2nd shift. 

Normal hours, 3A-11:30A or 5:30A - 3P for 1st shift. 3p-130a for 2nd shift.



### **Job Summary:**


The Production Team Leader will oversee and manage the production team, ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality products. This role involves coordinating daily production activities, managing team performance, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.


### **Key Responsibilities:**


- **Leadership and Supervision:**

 - Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support.

 - Schedule and assign work tasks to ensure production goals are met.

 - Monitor team performance and conduct performance reviews.


- **Production Management:**

 - Oversee daily production operations to ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards.

 - Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth production processes.

 - Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.


- **Quality Control:**

 - Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

 - Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

 - Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.


- **Health and Safety:**

 - Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

 - Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.

 - Provide training on safety practices and procedures to the team.


- **Continuous Improvement:**

 - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

 - Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.


**Qualifications:**


- **Education:**

 - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.


- **Experience:**

 - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least [insert number] years in a supervisory role.


- **Skills:**

 - Strong leadership and team management skills.

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 - Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly.

 - Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.

 - Proficient in using production management software and tools.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
