Job Duties for Fire Alarm Construction Manager

1. Prepare estimates for clients
2. Meet with architecture and construction teams on site
3. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors
4. Review fire system design from engineering teams and ensure feasible constructibility and instruction to construction teams
5. Process change orders
6. Monitor project progress and provide reports / feedback on progress
7. Oversee risk management
8. Oversee scheduling and budgeting in accordance with project budget

Qualifications

1. 5+ years experience managing a construction team or general contractors
2. English / Spanish or English / Korean preferred
3. Bachelors degree in construction management, business or related field
4. Excellent capabilities with MS Office; particularly excel
5. Knowledge of construction permits and legal requirements
6. Excellent interpersonal, visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
7. Excellent organization skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of project teams.
