Steele, AL- Onsite. Must be able to work any shift Onsite only, no remote. Current openings on 3rd shift only.

$25-32/hour DOE

Direct hire position.

Automotive manufacturing experience required. Must be able to work any shift. 10-12 hour shifts currently.

Must be strong in PLC and Robotic troubleshooting and repair


Multi-craft Maintenance Tech 

 

We are looking for tech with 

Omron PLC programing experience

Fanuc robot programming experience 

Electrical troubleshooting 

Pneumatic and pneumatic controls troubleshooting 

Resistant welding knowledge . 

 

 

 

Role Summary

To troubleshoot systems and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment, while always keeping safety as a priority. Will also provide support for production and carry out the assignments and responsibilities given to them by the assembly department maintenance supervisors and team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to plant standards. Also, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide continuous improvement suggestions resulting in minimal downtime of manufacturing equipment in the assembly area. Support installation and modification of equipment to ensure quality control requirements are met and process enhancements are realized.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Assist team members with running lines/presses
  2. Monitor and maintain good housekeeping using 5S
  3. Provide support for machine improvements
  4. Ensure equipment meets NEC, OSHA, RIA, and company regulations
  5. Perform PM inspections as required, complete with all repairs
  6. Disassemble defective equipment as well as replaces defective parts, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.
  7. May specialize in repairing specific manufacturing equipment, and equipment that is not specific to the manufacturing process.
  8. Use computerized or manual maintenance information systems to document the details of equipment related issues, repairs made, preventative and predictive maintenance measures taken, etc.
  9. Use computerize or manual systems to facilitate root cause analysis for failures resulting in major downtime (as defined by management). Once the root cause has been identified, put measurements in place that will prevent reoccurrence within the affected business unit, as well as across the facility.
  10. Interface will all necessary production associates, production supervision, etc., to ensure issues are identified and resolved. In general, communicate with the production team.

Additional Information

Must have good mathematical and communication

-Ability to read and understand schematics

-Ability to use testing and troubleshooting equipment

-Must have a good understanding of rigging, cranes, etc.

-Must have a general knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

-Must be able to pay good attention to detail

-Must have a basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading, dimension drawings, etc.)

-Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD

-Must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet customer requirements

-Must have basic knowledge or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Must have general knowledge on electrical theory and troubleshooting

-Must have general mechanical knowledge
