We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Preconstruction Project Manager to spearhead risk management and provide strategic leadership throughout the preconstruction phase of our projects. This vital role involves multiple projects simultaneously and occasionally focuses on a single significant project as needed. The primary responsibilities include overseeing technical project execution, managing team relationships, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of all estimating activities.


Role Summary


- Lead preconstruction teams, ensuring effective project scope management, procurement plans, and contract administration.

- Direct the creation and execution of project plans, including Cost Models, GMP proposals, and the ordering of materials and services.

- Guarantee project accountability across teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and execution standards.

- Conduct rigorous reviews of all estimates, ensuring they reflect current market conditions and historical data accuracy.

- Display comprehensive knowledge in budgeting, cost controls, and project procurement to ensure profitability and consistency across projects.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop staffing plans and ensure resource availability for projects.

- Implement and oversee comprehensive project management plans (PMP), ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

- Utilize Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to manage the design phases of projects effectively, particularly under Alternative Delivery Methods.


Minimum Job Requirements:


- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, coupled with at least ten years of experience in an estimating role.

- Proven capability in managing preconstruction phases for projects up to $50M or over, depending on level I or II classification.

- Extensive experience in one or more of our key market sectors.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, P6 scheduling, Enterprise Project Management Systems, and common industry estimating software.

- Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
