Senior Tax Manager

Houston, Texas

Our client, an international accounting and advisory firm, is currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager for their Houston, Texas office. In this client-facing role, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment and focus on corporate & partnership tax compliance and tax consulting for domestic tax issues of U.S.-based foreign-owned subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• State, local and federal tax compliance for foreign-owned corporations, foreign-owned partnerships, and foreign disregarded entities
• Evaluate reporting requirements related to U.S. tax treaties, FATCA, foreign withholding, foreign tax credits, etc.
• Supervise, train and mentor Tax Managers, Tax Associates and Tax Staff

Requires

• 7+ years of tax experience with a national or regional public accounting firm
• Bachelors or Masters in Taxation, or a similar program from an accredited college/university.
• Must have experience or exposure to international taxation compliance
• 4+ years of leadership experience, including the supervision of tax and accounting staff
• CPA license required
• International travel required (less than 20%)
