Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities:

·      Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment to keep in good running order.

·      Troubleshoot problems, recommend, and perform mechanical repairs to minimize downtime. Work with Operations to contribute to a Continuous Improvement environment

·      Operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.

·      Execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed.

Required Skills/Experience:

·      High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

·      At least 2 years manufacturing experience as a Maintenance Mechanic

·      Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required

·      Able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S)

·      MUST HAVE Maintenance Mechanic Experience in a manufacturing plant environment
