Associate Attorney – Data Privacy

Our client, a national law firm with 40 offices and more than 500 attorneys, is currently seeking a Data Privacy Associate. In this hybrid role, candidates can be located in either of the following offices:

Irvine, California

Denver, Colorado

Washington, District of Columbia

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

New Providence, New Jersey

Required Education and Experience:

·      JD degree from an ABA accredited law school

·      4+ years of experience with with employee and consumer privacy laws and state/federal/international regulations, data breach and incident response and reporting, and consumer privacy litigation and regulatory enforcement actions

·      Experience managing and advising on data privacy compliance, drafting privacy policies and notices, data protection agreements, data mapping, consumer consent workflows, digital marketing issues

·      Experience advising clients on conducting data protection impact assessments and responding to data subject requests

·      Certification: IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

·      Admitted to practice law in the state of residence (California, Colorado, DC, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey)

Base Salary: $190,000 – $250,000 + Bonus
