In addition to creating innovative digital solutions, our client is also responsible for maintaining their global IT organization, employing a balanced insourced and outsourced operating model.
As an IT Vendor Manager, you will be tasked with managing contracts and nurturing relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring that contractual commitments are fulfilled. Your role will involve defining and agreeing on a supplier governance framework and establishing a relationship map between their Digital, Legal, Internal Audit, and supplier organizations.
Joining their Sourcing & Vendor Management team of four, you will aim to maintain an optimal relationship with service providers and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and support that benefits their Digital and IT sectors.
This role reports directly to the Head of Sourcing & Vendor Management.
Requirements
Leadership:
As a leader, you will forge and manage relationships with Global Procurement and prepare and facilitate decision-making for the board. Additionally, you will proactively advise and support their business units as a subject matter expert while engaging in professional development to maintain up-to-date market knowledge.
What we are looking for
We are in search of an individual with knowledge and experience in contracting and vendor management using best practice methods, techniques, and frameworks.
Other required skills include proposal guidance, advising and facilitating business units, financial acumen, contract negotiation, and an up-to-date understanding of market trends.
Work Location:
Hybrid work model (2-3 days on-site at their office located near Amsterdam Amstel station)
