We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist for a credit union located in San Francisco, CA!


Type: Part-time (30 hours), temporary with a possibility of temp-to-hire (based on performance/attendance)


Pay: $70,000-95,000/year

Branch hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm


Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting – assists with recruitment activity, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, background checks, and, under the direction of the Human Resources management, makes appropriate employment offers.
  • Maintain and update HRIS system with new hires, terminations, and/or any system changes.
  • Maintains personnel files on all employees and the forms needed for administering the Human Resources functions.
  • Support the Human Resources department in the communication of personnel policies, procedures, and benefit plans to ensure compliance and understanding.
  • Monitor employee payroll data files online, including medical leave, personal leave, vacation, benefits, promotions, and terminations. Ensure that documentation trails are complete and up to date.



Requirements:

  • 2 years of proven human resources generalist experience (previous credit union, bank, or financial institution highly preferred)
  • Advanced ADP WorkForce Now knowledge (specifically HRIS side of ADP) required
  • A B.A. degree and PHR or SHRM-CP certification. If no certifications, at least some coursework in Human Resources Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR generalist with knowledge of CA labor law, the coordination of employee leaves to include FMLA, CA Paid Family Law and pregnancy disability leaves, benefits administration and workers’ compensation.
