We are currently seeking an experienced Member Solutions Representative for a credit union located in Vacaville, CA!


Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire


Pay: $19/hr


Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm or a shift close to that


Responsibilities:

  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with Teller Summary report.
  • Explains, promotes, or sells Credit Union products or services (teller checks, money orders, gift cards, etc.)
  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts. Opens secondary accounts such as Holiday, Share Certificate, etc.
  • Assists as a dual custodian for verification of the vault, teller cash dispenser/recycler (TCR), and automated teller machine (ATM).
  • Removes and processes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, ATM, night depository and mail.
  • Updates member information such as change of addresses and phone numbers, following credit union procedures and compliance standards.
  • Answer member’s questions regarding, but not limited to, Online Banking, Bill Payer, stop payment requests, hold on uncollected funds, deposits, withdrawals, and fees. Investigate and/or correct any errors as needed.
  • Assists members with Visa Check Cards orders and inquiries.
  • Assist members with general Lending questions. Helps member complete loan application and refers to lending staff for decision. May disburse and fund certain loan applications.
  • Executes wire transfer of funds.
  • Completes account verification forms such as verification of deposit, third party letters, and miscellaneous Back Office tasks.


Requirements:

  • 2 years of recent cash-handling
  • Applicants for this position should possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an outgoing and extroverted demeanor
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
