Job Description


This is an exciting growth opportunity where even the current CIO started as a developer and grew with the company. You’ll not only unlock the flexibility to work across multiple teams, but you could also become a team lead in your preferred department.

The primary responsibility of the Mid-level Software Engineer includes designing, testing, deploying and supporting new and existing web applications for both internal and external clients. In addition, you’re expected to collaborate effectively with other software engineers, quality assurance, project management, patient care and operations to deliver high quality software with speed in a fast-paced environment.


  • Develops software solutions self sufficiently by studying business and functional requirements and writes code that meets the requirements.
  • Confers with business analysts, project managers and other software engineers regarding system design, data usage, and work processes; investigates problem areas; follows the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoots issues that are occurring in production and comes up with the right solutions that will fix the problem and prevent it from recurring.
  • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating the requirements, analysis, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of software development by writing clear code that is self documenting and easy for other developers to understand.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying newer development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participates in educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains personal networks; participates in professional organizations.
  • Adheres at all times to physical, administrative and technical safeguards related to core business when executing job functions.


Qualifications


  • 5-10+ years of experience in .NET/C#/LINQ, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, DotNet Core. (Experience in other technology stacks is a plus).
  • Hands-on software development experience with a good mastering of object-oriented design and programming.
  • Skilled in Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL, data modeling, concurrency control and transaction, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with modern software design architectures such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), micro-services, API-centric design.
  • Skilled in unit testing, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery is a must.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with development teams.
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, HIPAA/HITRUST and security is a plus.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred but not required, or heavily relevant job experience.
