Position: Manufacturing Operations Supervisor (Production Supervisor)

Shift: NIGHTS - 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM - A/B/C/D shift rotation, every other weekend off

Compensation: $70-80k base salary DOE, $8k average overtime pay, bonus opportunity

Location: Memphis, TN (South Memphis area)

Market-leading global food manufacturer, rapidly expanding, is in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team, focused on leadership of food manufacturing lines within its flagship facility in Memphis, TN. Similar roles would include Packaging Supervisor, Processing Supervisor, Batching Supervisor, Compounding Supervisor, or Blending Supervisor within a food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or chemical plant.

The Production Supervisor will have responsibility for managing heavily-automated manufacturing lines on the assigned shift. This position will require flexibility with shift, primarily working NIGHTS, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2/3/2 rotation, with every other weekend off.

Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

• BS Degree preferred
• 2-3 years of demonstrated production leadership experience within a food manufacturing plant. Similar industries will be considered, including consumer products packaging.
• Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, as well as GMPs and HACCP / SQF / GFSI / PCQI standards
• Ability to lead union associates from the floor, including adherence to 5S and lean manufacturing principles
• Must have excellent communication skills and systems ability - SAP experience is preferred
• Flexibility with shift is absolutely essential. This position will likely be assigned to a night shift, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2/3/2 rotation, with every other weekend off.

Our client will offer a base salary of $70k-80k depending on experience, overtime pay, bonus opportunity, excellent benefits that begin on day one of employment, generous PTO plan, and a matching 401(k).
