Designer of Swimwear to join an established apparel design and manufacturing company in Los Angeles.

 

You will join our forward, trend-savvy aesthetic to create Private-Label swimwear. We are looking for this individual to take charge, develop fun concepts, have a great eye for color and print, and have top-notch presentation skills.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SWIM design required
  • Visionary design professional who's excited to step out and take risks 
  • Exceptional eye for print and color 
  • Mass Market knowledge preferred
  • Ability to handle a large-volume Swimwear brand, understand the customer and the market
  • Opportunity to direct the vision and design and drive concept through execution


Responsibilities:

  • Execute design from vision to final fit
  • Assist with/ developing new hardware, accessories, fabrics, trims, and innovative twists on classics.
  • Adhere to the development T&A calendar.
  • Collaborate with and motivate team: Assistants, Tech, Sample Room, Pattern Maker.
  • Polished and confident presentation skills required: will interface with retail management
  • Collaborate with sales, merchandising, product development, factories, and production.
  • Exceptionally creative and mature Associate Designers will be considered detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Compensation:

$125K Range depending on experience.
