Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Insurance verification
  • Insurance breakdowns
  • Filling schedule
  • Answering phones (gathering data from patients)
  • New patient coordinator
  • Getting more reviews from patients


Schedule: 


  • 25 hours/week
  • Mon and Weds 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Fri 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • EST time zone
  • Potential for full-time


Salary: $23-$29/hour



Our ideal candidate


  • Open Dental experience is REQUIRED!
  • 5+ years of dental and insurance verification experience REQUIRED
  • Pedo (and pedo scheduling) experience is REQUIRED!
  • Insurance submission experience
  • Experience with PPO insurance
  • Local MED experience is advantageous (used for online scheduling)
  • Modento experience is advantageous (used for new patient paperwork)
  • Tech savvy
  • Great (proficient) customer service skills
  • Great and positive attitude (polite and friendly, happy, welcoming, polite, patient, and have an empathetic voice for incoming calls - sunshine on the phone - proper phone etiquette)
  • Patient oriented
  • Great listener
  • Punctual and excellent attendance record
  • Willing to learn and takes instruction well
  • Excellent communication skills (great at talking with patients)

  • IV sedation done in office (anesthesiologist comes into the office)
