Responsibilities:

• Perform soil and aggregate observations and compaction testing and on various commercial and residential construction projects.
• Prepare daily reports on observed activities, providing clear documentation of findings.
• Perform soil sampling and transport to the lab.
• Work with and communicate daily with project personnel and clients to ensure that specifications are followed.
• Will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
• Follow general construction site safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
• Maintain assigned equipment.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Prefer one year of experience with soils but may train an entry-level individual.
• Recent engineering graduates are welcome to apply.
• Nuclear density gauge certification required.
• Valid Driver’s license with good record.
• Desire to succeed and advance in life.
