Qualifications
Candidate will have a BSCE, plus a minimum of ten (10) years of public works experience or the equivalent of fifteen (15) years of total work experience. Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer is desired.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate independent thought and decision-making abilities, possess management and supervisory skills, and be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel as well as in-house professional peers.
Candidate’s experience must include the following:
Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to develop business together with significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.
Candidate’s technical experience to include a combination of the following: public agencies, capital improvement projects, design-build projects, pipeline projects, transportation projects, water resources projects, preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating assessment and consideration of site constraints and potential regulatory issues), preparation/processing of public works, improvement plans and specifications, development/preparation/processing of design-build documents for contractor clients and public agency owners.
Position generally requires extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of public works infrastructure projects and in interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.
