Our Cicero Indiana practice is seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team (Part-time- about 20 to 25 hours per week). We have created a welcoming environment for both our patients and staff. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the daily schedule and open the office.
• Close and secure the office and shut down equipment, computers
• Manage scheduling - Obtain and confirm the patient’s name and phone number during phone calls, emails, texts, and in person. Ensure new patients bring their insurance card and ID; make copies
• Interact with patients - greet them as they enter, get to know them, know and remember their names, and ask if they need a therapy session first before seeing the doctor
• Track the order and flow of patients and manage it to keep to a good flow so patients do not have to wait as best as possible.
• Make accommodations for walk-ins as much as possible
• Manage and restock office supplies and keep the office tidy and restrooms clean
