As a Business Dev. Manager, you will execute and manage closing sales opportunities. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the automation robotic industry, geeks out on industrial welding, and enjoys b2b victories.


What you’ll do: Identify and call on potential new customers. Create value propositions and build customer relationships. Maintain customer data, sales activity, forecasts in the HubSpot CRM. Attend local, national shows and meetings. Work with departments to ensure sales orders are processed properly and communicate lead times.

 

What success looks like:


30 Days:

  • Completing basic functions within HubSpot and Odoo.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and collaborate with teammates.
  • Become familiar with customers, products, systems, and technology.


60 Days:

  • Understanding of the sales process and familiarity with sales discovery.
  • Business prospecting, marketing efforts, and relationship building.
  • Lead follow-up, prospect engagement, and meeting coordination.


90 Days:

  • Company Value Proposition and KPI expectations.
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects.
  • Oversee the bid management process including quotes, specs, and documentation.

 

Experience needed:

  • Typically 5+ years of outside industrial sales and a preferred Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience selling MIG and TIG welding processes at a high level is a plus.
  • Familiarity with selling 6-axis robots. co-bots, laser cutting is a bonus.
  • Skilled in using CRM software: HubSpot, Odoo, and other software tools.
